Yacht Name: Joy -
Owner: Sameer Gehlaut -
The 70 meter (230 ft) motor yacht Joy was delivered by Feadship in 2016. Joy is owned by Sameer Gehlaut.
We were informed that Joy is owned by Napster founder Sean Parker.
But we also received several messages that Sean Parker is not the owner of the superyacht.
In June 2017 we found out that Indian billionaire Sameer Gehlaut is the actual owner of the yacht Joy.
Rumors that ‘the owner of Joy’ is the ‘youngest client of Feadship ever, a guy is his thirties’ is also incorrect, but we did find out that Feadship is indeed building a yacht for a very young man.
Do you know more about this Feadship client? Please do send us a message.
The Feadship Joy is designed by Bannenberg & Rowell, while the UK based Studio Indigo is responsible for the yacht’s interior.
The yacht’s interior was designed to create anatural flow between the interior and exterior spaces. Joy can accommodate 12 guests and has a crew of 18.
The yacht is powered by two MTU engines at 1.800hp each, which give her a top speed of 16 knots. Her range is 4,500 miles.
The yacht Joy is available for charter through Burgess, with charter prices starting at US$ 700,000 per week.
