We were told by several sources that Iris Fontbona is the owner of the yacht Halo. But following the publication of this page, we also received messages claiming that she is not the owner. We found that the yacht is actually owned by María Asunción Aramburuzabala. She is a Mexican billionaire (which also explains the Mexican interior designer of the yacht).
She is a Mexican billionaire, who sold the family beer brewing company. She was born in May 1963. She was married twice (but divorced) and has 2 children. She sold her family’s beer brewing company Grupo Modelo to Anheuser Busch. She now serves on the board of Anheuser Busch.
Maria is the granddaughter of Félix Aramburuzabala Lazcano-
Felix's son, Pablo Aramburuzabala, vice president of the brewery, died unexpectedly in 1995 at the age of 63. His wife and two daughters inherited the company and founded Tresalia Capital ("tres aliadas" or three allies) in order to diversify the family investments.
In 2013 Grupo Modelo merged with Anheuser Busch, valuating Modelo at US$ 20 billion.
