Tommy Hilfiger is the owner of the yacht Flag.
Tommy Hilfiger is a succesful fashion designer and founder of the Tommy Hilfiger Corporation. Hilfiger started designing menswear and later expanded into women's clothing and various luxury items such as perfumes. In 1992 his company was stocklisted. His business partner Lawrence Stroll was an early investor and made a fortune (as did Hilfiger). Although (we believe) he sold all his shares, he remains the company’s principal designer and is leading the design teams.
In 2016, Hilfiger collaborated with model Gigi Hadid on clothing designs launching the TommyXGigi clothing collection. He also wrote books and was judge in tv productions. In 2005, a CBS reality show called The Cut tracked the progress of sixteen contestants as they competed for a design job with Tommy Hilfiger and their own fashion line under Hilfiger's label.
The net worth of Tommy Hilfiger is estimated at US$ 400 million.
Tommy Hilfiger is an active philanthropist through his Tommy Cares Foundation. The foundation focuses on youth, health, education and culture.
Tommy owns and has owned many houses. He currently lives with his wife Dee Hilfiger in a large castle in Greenwich, near New York. The house was built for NY real estate investor Charles Paterno, who named it Chateau Paterno. They also owns a house in Miami, and seem to own another Greenwich property. Hilfiger listed his penthouse in New York for sale, asking US$ 50 million.
Hilfiger owns a Dassault Falcon 900 private jet, with registration N818TH. The jet was built in 2006. Hilfiger previously owned a Bombardier Challenger. The jet bears the Tommy Hilfiger logo.
The yacht Flag was built as Cakewalk for Charles Gallagher (her replaced her with a 85 meter Derecktor, now known as Aquila). Gallagher sold her to Frank Fertitta, who named her Fortunato. Later she was sold to Lawrence Stroll who named her Faith. Most photos on this page are from the ‘Faith period’. In 2017 Stroll had his new 97 meter Faith delivered and sold his current yacht to his business partner Tommy Hilfiger. Hilfiger named her Flag, probably a reference to his business logo. The yacht Flag was launched in 2000 by Royal Van Lent. She is built from steel, with an aluminum superstructure. Faith can accommodate 14 guests in 7 cabin and has crew of 17. She can reach a maximum speed of 16 knots. The yacht Flag bears a large Tommy Hilfiger logo.
