The luxury yacht Venus was built at Feadship for Apple founder Steve Jobs.
When the yacht was delivered in 2012, it was rumored to have cost more than EUR 100 million. The yacht was designed by Jobs, together with famous designer Philippe Starck. Following a legal dispute about a payment, it became known that Starck earned a US$ 9 million fee with the project.
Venus can accommodate 12 guests and has a crew of 22. She has a length of 78 meters and is said to have a minimalist interior. However not much is known about this interior and there are no interior photos available. We only found some photos which show a bit of the inside of the beach club (See hereunder)
Steve Jobs was aware he might not live to see the boat launched, but continued to involve with its design. He died before the delivery of the yacht. The yacht is now owned by his widow Laurene Powell Jobs. In August 2015, Venus visited Monaco Marine for a refit. The photos on this page are used with permission of Think Yachts.
The yacht Venus is not available for charter. In July 2017 Laurene and her family visited Croatia on board Venus.
