Jim and Jan Moran have owned more than 200 vessels. Of which several superyachts all named Gallant Lady.
Moran was actually Feadship’s best client. He ordered 8 motor yachts all built at Royal de Vries Yacht builders.
The 1985′ Gallant Lady is now known as LADY SANDALS
Moran also ordered a 49-meter motor yacht at US Delta Marine. The yacht is now named New Vida.
Latest Gallant Lady
Moran’s latest superyacht was a 51m (168ft) Feadship. The yacht was delivered in 2007 just before he passed away.
She is powered by 2 Caterpillar engines. Which bring her a cruising speed of 12 knots. She can accommodate 10 guests and a crew of 11. She has a shallow draft so she can easily reach the Bahamas.
The yacht is fitted with advanced innovations, including an environmentally safe bio-reactive waste sewage treatment plant. Her owner was involved in the design of both exterior and interior.
The yacht is still owned by the Moran family. Although she is currently for sale asking $25 million.
The yacht is often in Fort Lauderdale. Or docked behind the Moran family residence in Hillsboro Beach, Florida. Her owner was a founding member of the Seakeeper’s Society.
