Who is Jean Pigozzi?
Jean Pigozzi was born in January 1952. Jean is the son of Henri Pigozzi. Henri Pigozzi was a car industrialist. Henri had the right to import, and later assemble, Fiat cars in France during the 1930s. Later he founded Simca.
Simca was one of the biggest automobile manufacturers and most popular automobile brands in France. In 1970 Simca was sold to Chrysler.

Jean inherited his father’s fortune. It’s hard to estimate his net worth but its more than US$ 100 million and possibly a multiple factor of that. The US$ 100 million figure is based on his many houses and his lifestyle.
Contemporary African Art
Jean Pigozzi has collected the world’s largest collection of contemporary African art.
Pigozzi founded the LIQUID JUNGLE LAB., with the goal to create, on the Isla Canales de Tierra, one of the most advanced field stations in the world for Marine and Botanical research.
In 2007, Pigozzi founded Limoland, a men’s clothing and accessories brand.

Jean Pigozzi owns many houses, but his main residence is considered to be Villa Dorane in Antibes, France.
The residence is available for rent as a wedding location. He also owns a residence in Geneva, Switzerland. And he owns a private island in Panama named Isla Simca. The island’s villa is filled with African art.
