The yacht Broadwater was built as Rasselas bij Feadship’s De Vries in 1994. Her commissioning owner was Kenneth Rainin, founder of Rainin Instrument Company, which sold a mainstream brand of laboratory pipettes. He died in 2007 at the age of 68.

Interior
The yacht can accommodate 12 guests and a crew of 13. Her original (1994) interior was designed by John Munford. Her interior was redone at a 2019 refit at HuisFit in the Netherlands.
Owner
The yacht’s owner is Matthew Voorhees. He named the yacht after his house. (And his house after the street he is living on).
