In 10 years’ time, it grew to 9 stores when a tornado hit and damaged the biggest store. Schulze organized a “Tornado Sale” of all stock in the store’s parking lot, promising “best buys”. It was a big success and so the company was named Best Buy Company. Nowadays Best Buy has more than 1,500 stores, including stores in Canada and Mexico. The company sells consumer electronics, and related merchandise, including software, video games, music, mobile phones, and digital cameras.
