Timothy Donahue is the owner of the yacht Big Zip. Timothy (Tom) Donahue was chairman of Nextel from 1999 until 2006. Donahue worked at the paging division of MCI Communications when it was sold to McCaw Cellular in 1986. Donahue became president McCaw Cellular. When AT&T acquired McCaw, Donahue became president of AT&T New York. Later Craig McCaw hired Donahue as president of Nextel, a wireless service provider. Under Timothy Donahue’s direction, Nextel became a very successful Fortune 200 company. Donahue was rewarded very well. In 2003 alone he earned USD 26 million, while his Nextel shares were worth more than USD 50 million. Leaving Nextel in 2006, Timothy Donahue became director at Tyco International and Eastman Kodak. His yacht Big Zip was built at Trinity Yachts and delivered in 2010. She has an interior by Evan K. Marshall and can accommodate 10 guests in 5 cabins and a crew of 8. In 2012 luxury yacht Big Zip was put for sale.
