She is designed by Sam Sorgiovanni, while J.W. Harris is responsible for her interior. Harris was also responsible for the interior of Walton’s previous Feadship yacht. Secret was delivered to her owners in 2013. Not much is known about Secret, but she is powered by two Caterpillar diesel engines, giving her a speed of 13 knots. She has a steel hull with an aluminum super structure.
Legal Dispute between Yacht Brokers
Nancy Walton’s ownership of Secret became clear following a legal dispute in the US between two yacht brokers about the distribution of earned sales commission. (Nancy Walton was NOT a party in this dispute). According to Broward County Case CACE11013809, a yacht broker named David Frazer was involved in the sale of Nancy Walton’s previous yacht, also named Secret, to US investor Bruce Sherman. Frazer was fired by the involved yacht broker before closing the sale, but claims a part of the sales commission on the sale.
