Limited Edition 272

Here Comes the Sun is an Amels Limited Edition 272, the largest in the Limited Edition Range. Over the past 10 years Tim Heywood has produced six unique and stunning 55 to 83-metre (180 to 272 ft) designs for the Limited Editions range, spanning a Gross Tonnage from 707 to 2,827. The Limited Editions have the advantage of being built on a proven, reliable platform, while retaining the main attraction of pure custom - freedom in the interior design and exterior styling. Ten years after its launch, with more than 20 yachts delivered on time and on budget, Limited Editions is a revolution in yacht building.

 

A 300sqm Owners Deck

The yacht has a dedicated owner’s deck measuring 42m long with total deck area of more than 300 sqm. it means that the five generously proportioned guest cabins can all be located on the main deck, where they might otherwise be situated on lower deck.


A 5,5 Meter Swimming Pool

Some of the yacht’s features are a 5.5 by 3.5 meter swimming pool, a 87sqm Beach Club and a helipad with a max take of weight of 3,000 kgs.

Alexander Dzhaparidze is the owner of the yacht Here Comes The Sun. Alexander Dzhaparidze is the CEO and founder of The Eurasian Drilling Company.


Eurasian Drilling Company

The Eurasian Drilling Company (EDC) is an onshore and offshore drilling and well services contractor. EDC owns and operates one of the largest fleets of land drilling and workover units in the world. EDC is the largest Russia drilling company by metres drilled. The company realizes revenues of US$ 3 billion and has 22,000 employees. Djaparidze has been the Chief Executive Officer of the Company since August 2007 and was one of the Company’s founders in 2002. He owns 30% of the shares. In 2015 Schlumberger acquired a minority stake for US$ 1.7 billion.


PetroAlliance

Dzhaparidze was also founder of Petroalliance, a Russian oilfield services company, which he sold to Schlumbergen for US$ 650 million.


He Owned Many Yachts

Alexander Dzhaparidze has owned several yachts, all named after a Beatles song. The first was the Heesen 37 meter Let it Be, built in 2005. Then another Heesen: a 47 meter, also named Let it Be. He currently still owns the Amels 212 Imagine, which is now for sale. And in 2016 his latest yacht Here Comes the Sun will be delivered.
