The yacht C2 was built by Abeking & Rasmussen and delivered to her owner Ronald Perelman in 2009. Perelman had just sold his previous Abeking & Rasmussen yacht named Ultima III (now named Diamond A).

Reymond Langton Design

C2 was designed by Reymond Langton Design, as a sister ship to Eminence (owned by Russian billionaire Alexander Khloponin and built as Excellence for Herb Chambers). Not much is known about the interior, as it was designed by the owner’s personal designer. Her twin Caterpillar diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 14 knots.

Claudia Cohen

C2 is supposed to be "C two" rather than "C squared". C2 is assumed to stand for Claudia Cohen, the owner's ex-wife who died of cancer in 2007. Her name is also remembered in the the Claudia Cohen C2 Research Foundation.

St. Barths

Ronald Owen Perelman is US based billionaire, most known for owning the Revlon Group.

Perelman is a successful investor, through his private holding MacAndrews and Forbes he invests a fortune of US$ 14 billion. Investments include the Revlon Group, Harland Clarke, Mafco, Scantron and AM General, known for the Hummer and the military Humvee. Ronald Perelman comes from a wealthy family.

American Paper Products Company

The Perelman family owned the American Paper Products Company, which was founded by Ronald’s grandfather Morris Perelman in the early 1930’s. In the 1960 Ronald’s father Raymond and his uncle Leon Perelman took over the paper company. The company was very successful and Raymond Perelman started investing. Ronald soon joined his father in the investment activities. Early investments were the Esslinger Brewery, sold with a US$ 1 million  profit and Cohen-Hatfield Jewelers, which he sold with a US$ 15 million profit. Ronald acquired the chocolates and licorice distributor MacAndrew and Forbes in 1980. Later this company was turned into Perelman’s private holding.


Notable investments were Technicolor, The Revlon Group, Max Factor, the First Gibraltar Bank and Marvel Entertainment Group. Like his father (who donated US$ 300 million to good causes of which US$ 225 million to the University of Pennsylvania),

Ronald is an active philanthropist. Both Ronald and his father Raymond are listed on the Chronicle of Philanthropy’s Top 50. In 2013 alone Ronald has donated more than US$ 200 million to charity. The net worth of Raymond Perelman is estimated around US$ 500 million, while Ronald has an estimated net worth of US$ 12 billion.

G650 Private Jet

Ronald Perelman is the owner of a Gulfstream G650 private jet with registration number N838MF (‘MF’ for MacAndrew and Forbes). The jet has a value of at least US$ 75 million.
