Rybolovlev named his yacht after his daughter Anna and his jet after his daughter Ekaterina (Kate)
Dmitry Evgenevich Rybolovlev is the owner of the luxury yacht Anna, which he named after his daughter Anna. Rybolovlev is a Russian billionaire.
He controlled Uralkali, one of the world's largest producers of potash fertilizers. In 2010 Rybolovlev sold his shares in Uralkali for USD 6.5 billion to Suleiman Kerimov. In December 2011, Rybolovlev acquired two thirds of the French-side football club AS Monaco.
A US$ 95 Million Mansion
And in 2008 Rybolovlev bought Donald Trump's Palm Beach mansion, Maison de L'Amitie, for USD 95 million. Robolovlev owns a 9.7% stake in the Bank of Cyprus, for which he paid US$ 295 million.
The Most Expensive Divorce Ever!
In 2014 a Swiss court ordered Rybolovlev to pay his ex wife US$ 4.5 billion, which was named 'the world's most expensive divorce settlement'. However in 2015 the court had significantly reduced the settlement to an amount of US$ 600 million. And we were told that later that year the couple had reached an amicable divorce settlement.
A New Yacht
Rybolovlev currently owns the Feadship yacht Anna. We think that Ryboloblev is building a new larger yacht in the Netherlands. Do you know more about this project? Please do send us a message.
An Airbus A319 Private Jet
Rybolovlev also owns a US$ 90 million private jet: an Airbus A-319 with registration number M-KATE. The jet is named after his other daughter, Kate.
